NEW RIDERS - please see Ride List (button left) then click on dates for full info of where, when and how far we normally travel to and during our rides. But BEWARE - we're a mountain bike club, not a cruising outfit. You need to be able to pedal hard, climb hills, jump off a kerb, balance a bit and pedal for hours. Waggonway tootlers please take note.Last Sunday in every month should be New Rider days (you can DEMAND that we are gentle with you!). Thursday nighters are generally OK for beginners but you need decent lights you can see with, NOT CANDLES.
For those who may be interested in finding something here (you never know) you can do it with the Google search box below by searching only our site - try it if you've missed it in the past. Try "moron" for example.

TERRY H's THRUNTON THRASH THURSDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER - DEFINITELY NO NEW RIDERS OR ANYONE NOT HAPPY TO BURN FLESH, AND VERY GOOD LIGHTING IS REQUIRED. ATTEMPTED LEAVING TIME FROM THE CAVE WILL BE AS CLOSE TO 18:00 AS WE CAN MAKE IT. MOTOR SPORTS ARE DANGEROUS - but not as much as this ride is!

This was ZOOPERB last year and we're definitely going back. Names to the Gollum any time soon, already had the invitation. Probably doing Drumlanrig or Carron Valley on the way back doon. £15 entry per rider. PLEASE ENTER AS TEAM MIDAIRCRISIS (it's easier for the announcers and commentators!).

Although MidAirCrisis and NMBC are synonymous, there is still some exclusivity attached to MAC, as full membership to that is by personal invitation of the Gollum only, no matter what your new shirt may proclaim. You'll already know if you're "core" or not.
