START 'EM YOUNG!

Half way up the first climb today we came across this super family MTB outing - unfortunately they had trouble with a waggling handlebar stem as the young lady below had been giving her bike some real stick on Mabie Forest's rocks and roots. Luckily, the MidAirMen were carrying the right tool - Gollum! Well, not quite, but Golly did have the right size Allen key for the job. We love a happy ending.

Don't you just love her full-on race two-finger brake action? The shocked and puzzled look on her face is coz she's never seen a real Gollum before.

Strange thing was, this fit family kept getting themselves in front of us, and our paths crossed three or four times during the ride - amazing! I put it down to porridge. Here's Mum, Dad and the rest of the party enjoying a burn around the bushes -
