Michael is partner to my eldest daughter. He's ridden bikes since he was a puppy and knows how to hurt himself on concrete. He's the smoker of the group but you couldn't tell if you watched him go up hills on his Kona Kahuna. His second bike is a 2002 Claud Butler CBM full susser but it suffers from very cheap components all through the build.

We had Avid cable discs fitted to his Kahuna as an extra at point of sale and they have proved to be excellent stoppers with long-lasting pads. It's a great little bike, about 32/33lbs all up. We did think about donating the old Rocker Arms from my Kona Bear to give it 4 inches on the back, but have decided not to overstress its XC frame which doesn't have the same beef density as the other clump-framed Konas in the squad.

Having said that, BETD do extended Rocker Arms for the Kahuna so maybe it is a tough little doodad.

Have you Killed A BIKE THIEF TODAY?
