No apologies for showing you this large, slow-to-load photo. If you've been following this site at all you couldn't fail to read my rantings on my beloved Kona Bear. It's value (to me only) in cash terms had reached well over £2k. Between Monday night (28th Nov 05) and Wednesday night (30th) that value was reduced somewhat courtesy of some scumsucking son of a dic....... who broke into my garage and rode it away. That's bad enough, but they also relieved me of this:

Yep, the poor downtrodden souls from broken homes with no gas, water, food or electricity also felt the need to remove David's 2004 Coiler Dee Lux at the same time. This was one of the first to be imported and he was rather attached to it, so much so he didn't risk keeping it at home but left it in my garage for "safe keeping". That'll teach him!

There's a slim chance we may see one or both again as they stand out like sore thumbs in this area, especially the rare and heavily customised Bear. If you see anything like this in the Newcastle area please let one of us know (hope, desperation).

Here's a rundown of the kit:-

Brooks Circular 4-way Spoke Key

Various Allen Keys 1mm to 10mm

Two Puncture Repair Kits

Both bikes have stoptheft.co.uk data tags fitted. (yeh, laugh away)

WORST OF ALL, THOUGH, THE CHEEKY BAS***DS LEFT THIS!

Ha! you thought that was going to be a picture of a pile of excrement, but it's just my trusty Barracuda! (!!!)

The Data Tags on the bikes are similar to the one on my Suzuki SV650, which was also in the garage at the time of the break-in. It looks a bit like this:

Have you Killed A BIKE THIEF TODAY?
