I come under many different names in the ride lists and many more on the rides. One thing is for sure I have the sexiest shoes in the team which offsets the usually dirtiest Mongoose Teocali Super (this is the top model by the way!! And is the one that scared Gollum back into hiding when he tried it out on a Sunday ride). I’m 23 which should mean I’m one of the fastest riders, not so because I have an idea……. We all fall off our bikes so why don’t we enjoy it, if you go fast you won’t remember the crash like Stevie B so there is no story, go slow and you can reminisce of all the falls and prangs for eternity plus as a bonus you get to see everyone else’s crashes in front of you instead of missing missing them behind you!!

I’ve been biking with MidAirCrisis since Christmas 2007 and its true they really do cycle in all conditions from snow and sheet ice in January to monsoon rains and floods in August however I have yet to experience desert conditions L , although we are always looking for new routes J.

The key thing which is so great about this club which keeps me coming back is they take plenty of rests, even if you are the slowest you always get lots of rest while the others discuss the latest topics. When I joined the club I knew nothing about bike maintenance and even less about how to clean a bike, now I know everything about HOW NOT TO do something to a bike and its lights! These folks are a great source of knowledge and are always eager to help out especially Gollum who’s helped me fix bits and bobs on the bike many a time.

Occupation: treasury manager (I get to decide whether or not to pay Tesco and peoples wages (ooo the power))

Other enjoyments:  surfing, diving, gaming, drinking and partying

History: Came from swimming after had one too many injuries from competing at National level, love the speed and rush that comes from biking. Meant to wear glasses but get extra kicks trying to follow the person in front without being able to see the track!!!! Its great fun and makes you one with the bike.

Hates: people who can climb hills fast and not be out of breath!
